Meet the Breeder
My name is Jamie Bell, and I founded this small, preservation-focused breeding program in southwestern Indiana. Goldens have been a central part of my life since 2010—not only as beloved companions, but also as sporting partners. I am a member of the White River Golden Retriever Club and the Golden Retriever Club of America. Together, my Goldens and I enjoy training and competing, primarily in obedience and field work. Outside of training and showing, we love spending time outdoors, visiting family, and ending the day snuggled up on the couch.
While my kennel name was inspired by the farm where my breeding journey began, Grapevine Goldens has grown into something much more—a program rooted not in one piece of land, but in a lifelong passion for this incredible breed. Raising these dogs remains a true family effort, with my adult children, grandchildren, and close friends all lending their hands and hearts along the way.
Mission
My Purpose
Golden Retrievers were originally bred to be reliable hunting partners and devoted family companions. At Grapevine Goldens, I work to preserve that legacy—producing dogs with the working ability, structure, health, and temperament to excel in both the field and the home. Grapevine puppies are well-suited for active families, hunting and performance show homes, and those seeking a loyal, trainable companion to share in life’s adventures. We are always happy to discuss the breed, our dogs, and our program—whether you’re new to Goldens or have loved them for years
Our Experience & Standards:
Golden Retrievers have been a part of my life for well over a decade, with our first litter arriving in 2013. I follow the Golden Retriever Club of America’s Code of Ethics and am proud to be recognized as an AKC Breeder of Merit. Each litter is thoughtfully planned and raised with care—from early enrichment and socialization to the best in nutrition and veterinary support. While I may keep a puppy to continue in AKC or UKC events, my pups go on to become cherished family members and working partners.
Our Priorities:
Working Ability – Bred to perform with natural instincts and trainability.
Conformation – Balanced structure that supports health and performance.
Health – Guided by genetic testing, sound nutrition, and veterinary care.
Temperament – Calm, confident, and people-focused companions.
